Importance of data visualisation

Before going to the Power BI we need to first understand what exactly is business intelligence.

Business intelligence : Set of techniques and tools that are used in the industry for transforming raw data into meaningful and useful information. So that the right people at right time get the data and do the things which are beneficial to their business.

As we as human beings can understand the data with the help of figures and diagrams rather than data.

In large industries we have data residing in various sources like Access database, cloud, spreadsheets, different databases. So we need to get the data in the single platform and do data visualisation to get the relationships of data.

After integrating the useful data from various resources we cannot show millions of rows to the top position people. But the top management people should understand the data so that they could take appropriate decisions.

So data visualisation comes into picture. We can show the complex data in the form of pictorial representations and tell to the top management people.

Data visualisation is quick and easy way to convey concepts of information in a way that everyone can understand the data. It can help to identify key areas and hidden patterns in the data.
